Isaria Crop Sensor

Developed by the Fritzmeier Group in Germany,this crop sensor tool is being evaluated across the UK ,on wheat,barley,and oilseed rape crops.Precise Crop Nutrition is a member of a consortium led by CF Fertilisers and ADAS and funded by Innovate UK which is carrying out this evaluation.
Isaria is a system that measures crop nitrogen and biomass and optimises the application rates of nitrogen fertiliser on cereals and oilseed rape.There is also the facility to input a yield potential map and soil nitrogen data and all the information ( sensor and map) is converted into an application recommendation in real time.
